On March 25, 2010, 30 senior managers from Ericsson AB, the Sweden-based telecommunications company, were guests of Beacon Power at our headquarters. The executives were taking part in a visionary program called “Ericsson Global Perspectives,” which is designed to prepare the company’s future senior strategists and leaders. Under the program the best and brightest of 24,000 Ericsson employees spend one year as a group, traveling to different countries and gaining exposure to global innovation and products or services that ultimately serve the greater good. The visit was organized by the Executive Learning Center of Boston University. Beacon and National Grid co-presented to the group and a plant tour followed.
