Production Supervisor

I. Duties and Responsibilities

• Establish medium volume production line for Solar Inverter product using Lean Manufacturing Principles.
• Hire and train production team for assembly and test.
• Establish metrics for continuous improvement.
• Maintain box build and test documentation.
• Implement and maintain Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) recommended practices.
• Meet established production schedule and build quantity per month and annually.
• Coordinate floor inventory requirements with Purchasing and Production Control to prevent shortages.
• Maintain a clean, well-organized, safe work environment.

II. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Lean Manufacturing experience.
• Demonstrated ability to take charge of a team to meet company goals.
• Electromechanical Box Build and test experience.
• Familiarity with ESD equipment and procedures.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.

III. Work Experience and Education

• Minimum 4 year Engineering Degree or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in Contract Manufacturing environment.
