Interconnection Manager

This person will be responsible for managing the interconnection process for our regulation plants in multiple domestic target markets. The qualified candidate will be able complete interconnection applications, create conceptual one-line diagrams, be familiar with interconnection components including protective relays, circuit breakers and knowledgeable of interconnection procedures and processes. The candidate will also work with Engineering to create specifications for interconnection equipment and to manage the interconnection process to plant operation.

Qualifications

  • Experience interconnecting transmission level assets or with an ISO as an interconnection manager
  • Able to initiate, plan, organize, coordinate multiple activities on demanding time schedules
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills (verbal/presentation, written)
  • Ability to work collaboratively
  • Ability to recruit and manage a variety of external consultants
  • Flexibility and ability to quickly adapt and adjust to necessary changes
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related field
  • Experience with PSS/E and ASPEN software helpful
